Weather Policy

The MSLC office will close due to weather when the State College Area School District (SCASD) closes and all classes for the day (zoom and in-person) will be cancelled. In the case of a SCASD delay, all MSLC classes (zoom and in-person) that begin before 11:30 will be cancelled— classes that start at 11:30 or later will be held as normal. If SCASD dismisses early, all afternoon and evening classes (zoom and in-person) will be cancelled.

Cancelled classes will be rescheduled if possible.

In the case of tutoring pairs, the decision to meet during weather events is up to you. Please communicate with each other and reschedule if necessary.

Please always put safety first and do not travel if you have concerns about unsafe conditions.
